How to use the Sensor Readings Report

The Sensor Readings Report allows you to view sensor and engine data graphically reported by the device over the selected date range for your Asset Fleet. This report provides access to a deeper layer of data for your assets, which is particularly useful when investigating the activity and performance of specific Assets.

  • Click on Reports on the top menu
  • The Reports drop-down menu will appear
  • Select the Sensor Readings Report from the list

Selecting Sensor Data

  • The report will then load the report screen with an asset table to the left of the screen displaying the Assets that have available sensory data for today’s date by default and a blank data display area asking you to “Please select an asset from the list”

  • Click on the Asset in the asset table whose sensory data you would like to load
  • The table will then re-load displaying the selected Asset at the top of the table and the available sensor data parameters below
Note: sensor parameters will load if the device has ever sent data for that parameter, not just in the selected date range

  • Select the sensor data parameter(s) you would like to load and they will be loaded on the graph

  • You can zoom into a section of the graph by using your right mouse button to click, hold and drag the cursor from left to right across a section of the graph that you would like to zoom in on. Once you have selected the section you would like to zoom in on, release your mouse button

  • To reset the zoom, click on the Reset Zoom button

  • Click the back arrow to return to the Asset table list to view sensor data for a different Asset
