The Assets module is where you can store, review and customise your Asset information. To access Assets you must have a User Role of Manager or above. If your User account has the correct User Role you will see the Assets module available on your main menu.
- To access Assets, click on the Assets menu item on the main menu
- Assets will load displaying a table, detailing all of the Assets under your customer account. The table includes the following columns;
- Asset – the Asset Avatar, Label and Group
- Fault Indicators – This should display engine icon when fault is present along with the Fault number next to it if known.
- Rego./VIN – the registration and VIN number for the Asset
- Model/Make – the Model and Make of the Asset
- Usage – current Mileage (Odometer reading) and Runtime (Engine Hours) for the Asset
- Location – current location of the Asset
- Reminders – current open Reminders set for the Asset
- You can then filter the report by an individual or a combination of the below options;
- Group – this will filter the Asset list to show Assets assigned to the selected Group/s
- Tag – this will filter the Asset list to show Assets assigned with the selected Tag/s
- Fence – this will filter the Asset list to show Assets currently inside the selected Fence/s
- Asset Types – this will filter assets based on their types. Ex: Cars, Truck, Boats etc
- Asset State– this will filter assets based on their current status, whether they are in motion or parked
- Device Health – this will filter assets based on their current device status, Ex: Online, Review, Investigate, Offline
- Once you have selected your filters, click the GO button to apply them to the Report
- If you would like to remove all search filters you have applied, click the Cross icon in the Search bar OR to remove specific filters open the Search menu and de-select the filter
- If you would like to search for a specific Asset, type the Asset label in the search bar and click on the Go button OR hit your Enter key. You can also search by other fields by setting the search query as follows;
- Click on the down arrow next to the spy glass in the Search bar
- Select one of the predefined Search Queries
- Then type the field value into the Search bar and click the Go Button OR hit your Enter key
- You can type in multiple search values and separate them with a comma when using a Search Query. An example Asset Label query might be – label01,label10,label27 (Note: no space is required between the comma and next search value)
- Click on the down arrow next to the spy glass in the Search bar
- If you would like to remove all search filters you have applied, click the Cross icon in the Search bar OR to remove specific filters open the Search menu and de-select the filter
- To edit an Assets details, click on either the Asset Avatar or Asset Label and the Asset information screen will load for that Asset (How to edit your Asset details).
